Ms. Debra Garcia, a lifelong educator and first-generation college graduate deeply connected to South Texas rural communities. With over 20 years of experience, she brings a powerful personal story and a strong commitment to student success.
Debra’s educational journey began with support from Premont ISD, The Upward Bound Migrant Farmworker Program, and Texas A&M University–Kingsville, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Counseling and Guidance, and she is on the verge of earning her Doctoral degree! She hopes her story inspires students to believe that anything is possible.
