Dr. Amber White is entering her tenth year in education with a strong foundation in Family and Consumer Sciences and Career and Technical Education (CTE), where she has led and supported programs that emphasize real-world application and student engagement. Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for both academic and lifelong success.

Dr. White holds a Master’s degree from The University of Alabama and earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. Her academic background and leadership experience position her to foster an environment where both rigor and relevance guide instruction and student growth.

At the core of Dr. White’s educational philosophy is a dedication to holistic learning. She prioritizes opportunities that connect classroom instruction to real-life experiences, ensuring that students see the value of what they learn in the context of their future. She deeply values the diverse experiences each student brings and believes those experiences are essential to shaping well-rounded scholars who are prepared for life beyond high school.

Under her leadership, Kaufer Early College High School remains committed to developing lifelong learners who think critically, act responsibly, and pursue excellence with Seahawk pride.

Nanny Elementary & Secondary Principal - Behavior Coordinator - Ms. Tot Albro

PK - 6th Grade

Nanny Elementary Principal Tot (Lay) Albro brings 13 years of dedication to education and community. She began her career in San Antonio ISD, teaching history at Fox Tech High School and serving as adjunct faculty at Alamo Community College. Her administrative journey began in Dilley, Texas, where she served as vice-principal at both the high school and middle school levels.

In December, she returned to her beloved South Texas to join the Ricardo ISD leadership team. A first-generation college graduate with degrees from TAMUK and Texas A&M-San Antonio, Mrs. Albro is passionate about student success and equity. She’s led initiatives that boosted STAAR, AP, and college readiness scores in both SAISD and Dilley ISD.

Her experience working with diverse student populations has fueled her commitment to innovation, family partnerships, and community collaboration. With deep roots in service-learning and leadership development, Tot inspires students to reach their full potential—both in and out of the classroom.
