Riviera Seahawk XC teams did amazing at the District 32-2A Cross Country Meet held in Premont this morning.
The 7th-grade boy's division was represented by Isaac Gomez (3rd place), Omar Reyes (5th place), Edwin Lopez, Remi Perryman, and Preston Johnson. 7th-grade girls were Daniella Castillo (2nd place) and Kenzie Davis. 8th grade boys were Roo Rendon, Jaden Soto, Rafael Guevara, Jaylen Fuentes. 8th-grade girls were Adelina Bell (2nd place), Hydi Brittain, Jurzi Merrill, and Meagan Barcena.
Running in the JV Boys division was Kyle Mooney, placing 6th.
Varsity Boys were Roan Bell (9th), Jay Coria (10th), Robbie Ochoa, Romeo Gutierrez, Leroy Salinas, and Brenden Solomon. These boys ran to a 3rd place Team finish and earned a spot at the Regional XC Meet.
Varsity Girls were represented by 4 runners… Katélina Rendón (5th), Piper Deneweth, Myya Deneweth, Jalena Salinas.
The Varsity Boys Team and Katélina will compete at the UIL Region IV Cross Country Championships on October 24th in Corpus Christi.
