Our Lady Seahawks ended their volleyball season with a tough Bi-District loss to Three Rivers on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Alice High School.
Not taking defeat easy, the Lady Seahawks showed up ready to play and put up a fight against the Three Rivers Bulldogs.
First set, the Lady Seahawks led from the start but battled the Lady Bulldogs to a loss of 10-25.
In the second set, the Lady Seahawks came alive to even up the score pushing for a win. With strong serving, great back row pickups, and aggressive net play, Riviera fought hard but was unable to overcome the offensive attacks of Three Rivers, losing Game Two 15-25
In game Three, our Lady Seahawks continued to fight for a comeback and rallied for many tough points. With hard-driven hits, key blocks, offensive sets, and continued dependable back row ups and passes, the ladies fought hard but were still unable to overcome the threat of the Lady Bulldogs. Our Lady Seahawks ended their 2022 Volleyball season with a tough loss to Three Rivers 17-25.
Through adversity and bumps along the way, our Lady Seahawks overcame many obstacles to produce a winning season. Led by five seniors, the Lady Seahawks were a force to be reckoned with.
