The De La Paz Beginner Band performed at the Gulf Coast Band Festival held at Calhoun HS in Port Lavaca on Saturday April 25th. They were awarded an excellence in performance plaque for their concert. The music judges then worked with the band and offered helpful hints for improving their playing. Afterwards, the students were treated to lunch and games at Peter Piper’s Pizza. Congratulations to these fine students for their great performance.
