Our Spanish Club consists of President Gabby Hare, VP Morgan Butler, Treasurer Lauren Sandoval, and members Brody Bursiel, Yulissa Beltran, Georgia Cross, Brooke Garcia, Liliana Monsevais and Sponsor Coach Artie De La Rosa. Today we honor the incredible dedication, hard work, and compassion of our amazing lunch ladies! Every day, they show up with smiles, serve hundreds of nutritious meals, and create a warm, welcoming environment for every student. Their early mornings, tireless energy, and caring hearts nourish more than just bodies—they nurture our entire school community. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure every child feels seen, fed, and cared for. You are truly the heroes of our cafeteria!

**Spanish Club Shows Appreciation to Local Law Enforcement**
Today, Coach Artie and the Riviera ISD Spanish Club set out on a mission of gratitude, delivering pan dulce to several of our local law enforcement departments.
Their first stop was the Border Patrol office, where they were warmly welcomed by several agents and even received a tour of the office. Next, they visited the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Department and were greeted by Sheriff Kirkpatrick and one of his Lieutenants. Their final stop was the DPS Station, where they presented treats to Texas Ranger Hinojosa.
Each department expressed sincere appreciation for the students’ thoughtful gesture. The Spanish Club wanted to show that everyone at Riviera ISD values and supports our local law enforcement officers for their dedication to our community—especially our school.
After their visits, the Spanish Club members enjoyed some well-earned pan dulce themselves, courtesy of Coach Artie. They proudly placed their orders in Spanish, putting into practice the skills they’ve learned this year!
A special thank you to Coach Gonzalez for driving the group to Kingsville and to Mrs. Veronica Hare for her support during our fundraiser. ¡Gracias!
