The Mighty Seahawks soared over Odem today, 58-43. It was a complete team effort! Great job, boys! The player of the game was Jaydien Montalvo, dropping 17 points with five 3's and 9 rebounds.

Parents,
Kleberg County Fire Department was in district. There was smoke (no fire) contained in one classroom at the High School. All students were safely evacuated, and the fire department has assessed the situation. The smoke was due to a short-circuit in an A/C Unit and has been contained.
We have resumed normal school operations however, we understand that some parents may want to pick up their child(ren) from school. If you would like, please contact or stop by your child's campus to sign them out for the day. There will be no attendance penalty for any child(ren) being picked up early.

The Top Sellers for the Fresh Country Fundraiser for Track and Field enjoyed the day at Dave and Busters. Top Seller-Boy, Isaac Gomez, Top Seller-Girl, Jayla Dodd. Top Points earned, Hailey Huff and Jayla Dodd. Congratulations to these three athletes. Thank you to everyone that participated and contributed to our fundraiser!

Riviera FFA had the pleasure of taking the Pre-K classes Caroling with Cows. The Pre-K classes and FFA members serenaded the cows with their favorite Christmas Carols. A great time was had by all! Riviera FFA loves their Pre-K Buddies!

Coastal Bend College Graduate: Madison Arredondo
Madison Arredondo attended the fall graduation ceremony at Coastal Bend College--Beeville on December 14th where she was awarded her Associate of Arts degree. Madison is the first student of Kaufer ECHS to achieve a degree in CBC’s fall graduation ceremony, 5 months before her high school graduation. Madison is a member of the Kaufer senior class of 2024 and will attend Texas A&M University Kingsville upon high school completion.

Riviera FFA hosted their annual December FFA Meeting and Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 13th. Members participated in the Ugly Sweater Contest, Cardboard Gingerbread House Decorating Contest and brought gift card donations for CASA.
