Coach Artie and his student flag delegation consisting of Omar Reyes, Luis Lugo, and Ryan Ramos assisted our Lil’ Seahawk Pre-K students in their play day on Friday, May 12th. Our De La Paz MS student delegation also served the Pre-K students during their meal time. Thank you Coach Artie for providing a great meal and to our DLPMS students for being such great hosts to our Lil’ Seahawks!

Wednesday, May 3rd, Riviera FFA traveled to Orange Grove to attend the Mesquite District FFA Banquet and compete in the Mesquite District FFA Speaking Contest Events. We are so proud of the 20 students who attended whether to compete, receive an award, run for office or participate as a voting delegate. Mary Smith ended her year of service as the 2022-2023 Mesquite District FFA President. Elizabeth Lugo will continue to serve the Mesquite District as the 2023-2024 Sentinel and Zane Henske will begin a year of service as the Mesquite District FFA Treasurer. Piper Colston and Isa Hubert received third in the talent show for their musical performance.

Kaufer ECHS Seniors had the unique opportunity to tour Keiwit Offshore Services Plant in Ingleside, Texas and learn about the potential jobs that may be available to them. Keiwit shared with us information about their company and life-after-graduation tips. The 555-acre facility specializes in the fabrication and integration of large, complex offshore projects.
