Forty-one students represented Riviera FFA at this week’s Mesquite District Leadership Development Events in Robstown. Through Leadership Development Events, FFA members are challenged to develop critical thinking skills, effective decision-making skills, foster teamwork and promote communication while recognizing the value of ethical competition and individual achievement. Greenhands are students enrolled in their first year of agricultural education. Top 2 placing Individuals and teams will advance to the area competition on Monday, November 20th in Robstown.

Winterguard season is coming up for students in grades 7th through 12th. See Ms. Garza for a trial packet if interested. Trial days are November 13th through 16th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Meet in the band hall for those days.
