Friday, September 8th, KECHS students were given the opportunity to meet with presenters from Kiewitt Offshore Services out of Ingleside. Our students got to learn about work opportunities in our area involving various trade skills. Our senior students will tour the Kiewitt plant this spring to further gain understanding of this company and industry. We look forward to continue to show our students the opportunities that may be available to them in the very near future.

Happy Grandparent's Day from Riviera ISD and Xtreme Photography! Thank you, Mrs. Yaklin of Student Affairs, for a successful event. Also, thank you to all of our volunteers!

The Riviera Seahawk XC Middle School and High School teams traveled to Port Aransas for the Marlin Invitational this past Saturday. The course was tough and unique due to 3/4 of it was run on the beach. Our runners competed like champs against 5A and 6A schools. The 7th grade Boys ran to a 3rd place overall team finish! The team consisted of Joshua Ochoa who placed 9th, William Clements-10th, Jake White-11th, Oleg Rodriguez, Mason Johnson, and Colin Miller. We are beyond proud of all our hardworking XC athletes. The next meet will be the Islander Splash in Corpus Christi for Varsity only on Saturday 9/16.

ASVAB OPPORTUNITY
Class of 2025
September 14th, 9AM
Not interested in Military Service? No problem! The ASVAB is so much more than a military entrance exam.
The ASVAB is a great career assessment tool that can help you identify which career areas best suit you. Because this is an aptitude test, it doesn't just tell you what you are currently good at. It also will tell you what you may be good at learning.
