As part of their healthy snacks unit, students in Mrs. Zapata’s Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness class participated in a hands-on kitchen lab where they created their own blueberry açaí bowls. Students explored the benefits of nutritious snack choices for high schoolers while practicing real-world kitchen skills. It was a fun and educational way to show that healthy eating can be both engaging and delicious!
