THE SEAHAWK BAND EARNS A FIRST DIVISION IN MARCHING
The Mighty Seahawk Band earned a first division trophy at the UIL Region 14 Marching Contest at Calallen on Saturday, October 18th. This earns the Seahawk Band an opportunity to compete at the UIL Area Marching Contest at Odem High School on Saturday, October 25th. They will be one of 10 bands from South and South East Texas competing for the opportunity to compete at the State Marching Contest. Congratulations and Good Luck!

PreK has been learning about Hispanic Heritage Month. Students have studied various Hispanic leaders who have or continue to do their part to make the world a better place. On Thursday October 16, PreK honored and celebrated the world famous chef and humanitarian, José Andres, who founded World Central Kitchen that helps provide food during crises. PreK students followed step by step procedures to make tortillas and were able to enjoy the fruits of their labor!

Yesterday, our Student Council had the privilege of visiting the Coastal Bend Food Bank!
We learned about the incredible work they do to fight hunger and support families across the Coastal Bend.
Our students helped sort and pack donations, gaining a deeper appreciation for the importance of service and teamwork.
A huge thank-you to the Coastal Bend Food Bank staff for welcoming and showing us how even small acts can make a big impact!
