Inclement Weather 2024
On Wednesday, January 3rd The Riviera Seahawks hosted a Powder Puff Game consisting of the Seniors and Sophomores taking on the Juniors and Freshman. It was a hard fought battle between both teams. The Senior/Sophomore team won the coin toss and wasted no time getting into the endzone. The connection of Zoe Ochoa to Haley Alegria lead to 6 points. The Junior/Freshman team stepped up their defense and didn't allow another score. The lone score on the first drive ended up being the difference maker, with the Senior/Sophomores taking the win 6-0. Big thanks to Mrs. Leos, Mr. Umphres, Coach Amaya, and Mrs. White for setting up this awesome event.

On Friday 1/5/24 The boys Seahawks varsity basketball team bested the Freer bucs 48-45 in hard fought game that went down to the wire. From being down 13 pts in the 1st quarter, the Seahawks made a come back thanks to the tenacious Defense by Joshua Russek on Freer's top scorer holding him scoreless in the whole 2nd half of the game. Josh finished with 3 steals, 5 rebs & added 10 pts , & Matthew Mascorro's 22 pts, 10 rebs, & the game winning & one lay-up plus free throw. Both earning Co-players of the game! The Boys are on a 3 game winning streak, Great job Seahawks!
