We are thrilled to introduce the Student Council Officers for the 2024-2025 academic year, a dynamic group of leaders dedicated to the KECHS.
Leading the team as President is Destinee Reyes, a senior known for her exceptional organizational skills and passion for student advocacy.
Supporting Destinee is our Vice President, C.J. Silva, also a senior with a talent for bringing people together and fostering a strong sense of community.
Handling the financial aspect as Treasurer is Evelyn Meija, whose meticulous attention to detail ensures our budget is well-managed.
Our Secretary, Tenly Lopez, will be documenting our meetings and communications with precision and clarity. Rounding out the team is our Reporter/Social Media Promoter, Grace Bull, who will keep everyone informed and engaged with her creative and effective communication strategies.
Together, these officers are committed to representing the student body, promoting school spirit, and initiating positive changes throughout the year.
Reminder, the kickoff football game was moved to Thursday, August 29th at 7 PM. All little Seahawks come out and run out with the Seahawks or cheer with the cheerleaders!
It’s August, and The Harvest of the Month in the State of Texas is Bell Peppers! In the Seahawk Café, we celebrated this healthy and colorful vegetable by topping chicken fajitas with sautéed peppers, and on pizza day the students chose their favorite color of fresh bell pepper strips to snack on. See below for more info about peppers and tips for storage and cooking.

This 9 weeks each student is required to bring a guest speaker from our community to talk to us about, “Why it is Important To Be Bilingual.” We are looking forward to having many more community visitors in the coming days.
