Military Connected Students were honored for month of the Military Child in April at Riviera ISD on Monday, April 14th at 1:30PM. The students were given a military lanyard with a pin and some sweet treats. We are proud Military Families choose Riviera ISD as their school of choice.

Last night the Riviera Seahawks hosted Staff Appreciation Night to honor the hard work and dedication that the staff of RISD puts into their students every single day. It was a great turnout from start to finish with the Seahawks earning a 12-2 win over La Villa.
Kindergarten has been learning about the life cycle of a plant. To wrap up the unit each student planted their own seeds and have been making daily observations.
We’re proud of our Riviera FFA Horse Judging team for competing at the Area X Horse Judging Contest this past Saturday, April 12th, in College Station, TX! Everyone represented our chapter well with their hard work and dedication. A big congratulations to Maisyn Bippert for placing 8th overall individually—great job, Maisyn! Keep up the awesome work!

Shoutout to Mrs. Leos’ Chemistry and Physics students who planned and organized STEM Night for our incoming Freshmen. Your hard work, creativity, and dedication made this event a huge success. From brainstorming ideas to setting up engaging activities, you truly brought the spirit of STEM to life. Thank you for inspiring your peers and making learning fun.
Come out Tuesday at 6:00pm for the Lady Seahawks last home game of the season, as they close out District play against the La Villa Lady Cardinals. It is also Parent's Night. We would like to recognize parents for their support this season! See you there!
