The program will be held at 6:00 pm in the Kaufer ECHS gym on December 10th. Parents will need to drop off their child at Nanny Elementary by 5:30 pm and wait in the gym for the performance. We will have an evening of Christmas music provided by the first performance of the De La Paz Middle School Beginner Band and the Award-Winning Mighty Seahawk Band. Our students had an incredible opportunity to explore the diverse programs available through immersive experiences and interactive sessions with student-led projects. The hands-on exposure provided invaluable insights into the world of engineering and the exciting paths our students can pursue.
Days like this remind us what can happen when institutions come together for student success! We are incredibly proud of our students for their curiosity and engagement, and we are grateful to the faculty, staff, and student organizations at TAMUK for such a meaningful and motivating experience.

✨ Animal Science Students Take Career Day to the Next Level! ✨
Our Animal Science students had an incredible opportunity this week at the Texas A&M VSCP Food Animal Medicine Career Day Camp!
We started the day at Las Palmas Veterinary Clinic in Falfurrias with Dr. Vickers, where students witnessed real-world procedures including artificially inseminating heifers and collecting semen samples from bulls—an unforgettable hands-on look at large-animal reproduction management.
Next, we traveled to El Coyote Ranch on La Paloma, where students learned how a working Longhorn cattle operation functions. They worked alongside Dr. Wilkinson as he sonogrammed bred heifers, palpated, and collected semen samples, giving them a rare chance to see veterinary medicine in action.
Students were treated to a delicious meal courtesy of El Coyote Ranch and wrapped up the day hearing from proud Riviera Alumni — Dr. Pancho Hubert, Ms. Della Serna, and Mr. Felix Serna, who shared their career journeys and advice.
We are so proud of our students for representing Riviera so well and grateful to everyone who helped make this experience possible!

It was originally set for Tuesday, November 18, but Odem has rescheduled it to Monday, November 17 at 5 PM and 6 PM.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes our traveling fans. We hope to see you in Odem showing that Seahawk pride!
